The epidemiological situation of the past few months has not stopped the Braidesi's desire to enjoy moments of leisure and quality entertainment, as evidenced by the great success of the Summer at the Belvedere, which sold out almost all the events organized in the splendid frame of the gardens of Spritembach square. This is why the municipal administration, thanks to the prestigious "Covidless Approach & Trust" recognition, obtained with an "AA" rating as part of a research by the University of Turin in collaboration with the CRC Foundation, has decided to relaunch and to offer citizens and tourists a rich program of autumn events. Obviously to be enjoyed in maximum safety.
It opens as usual with the great exhibition that is inaugurated on 8 September (at 18 pm) in the frescoed rooms of Palazzo Mathis. This year the exhibition will be dedicated to the city's “itineraries of worship and urban expansion”, on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the construction of the original church of Sant'Andrea. The exhibition is curated by the Cultural Association Antonella Salvatico of La Morra and by the International Center for Studies on Medieval Settlements of Cherasco. But this will be only the first of a long series of art exhibitions: "Cclimat" (October 10 - November 1) will follow, the exhibition by American photographer James Balog that documents the effects that climate change has produced in the cross-border territory which includes the Mercantour and Ecrines parks and the protected areas of the Maritime Alps, the Gesso and Stura river park and the hills of Langa and Barolo, "Exodos" (November 14 - December 6), an exhibition that will present images and reports by sixteen Piedmontese photojournalists awarded with the Medal of the President of the Republic, and finally "The places of the spirit" (December 19 - January 31), which will describe the sacred places of Piedmont through images by Carlo Avataneo.
From 10 to 12 September space instead for music with Artico Festival, an appointment organized by the "Switch on future" Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Bra which will bring Federico Sacchi to the stage set up in the gardens of Rocca Motta (Thursday 10) (Friday 11 ) and Johnny Marsiglia (Saturday 12), the only date in Piedmont for one of the most important rappers in Italy. Music will be the protagonist again on September 24th when the ninth edition of “Bramonamour” will be held, the festival that for years has combined the performance of musicians with street food. In this Covid-less version, Bramonamour will embrace the city and from the Zizzola park it will peacefully invade the historic center with street music and traveling live-sets. Furthermore, 250 years after Beethowen's birth, on October 3rd and 11th the “Mousikon” Association will offer a series of concerts to rediscover the music of the great composer in the most evocative locations of the city.
Among the highlights of the autumn program, the events dedicated to good food could not be missing: from 24 to 28 September the city of Zizzola will host the new edition of "Pro Loco in città", which runs from one to four consecutive days. A great opportunity to taste the gastronomic specialties of Piedmont cooked as they once were. And what about one of the symbols of autumn in Bra, of course, “From courtyard to courtyard”, which on Sunday 4 October will once again allow you to combine the best of the culinary tradition with the most evocative views of the city. From 4 to 8 December Bra's, the Bra sausage review, will return: starred chefs will celebrate Bra sausage in combination with the specialties of the city of Zizzola: Bra DOP cheese, rice, bread and vegetables from Bra.
But the rich program of Bra's autumn reserves moments able to satisfy all tastes: the appointment with street artists (18, 19 and 20 September), the third edition of Wab - Woman Art Bra, the biennial of contemporary art dedicated exclusively to women and their creativity, the Ludobus for the little ones (4th October) or the Night of the Museums (14th November) just to name a few.
