The distribution to the citizens of the Piedmont Region masks begins today in Bra, after the arrival of the first batch of 6000 pieces sent under the Zizzola by the regional administration.
The masks will be delivered free of charge at home, directly to the letterbox, with the coordination of the Municipality of Bra and the precious collaboration of the city volunteer, in particular the Youth Group of the Red Cross, some temporary volunteers from the Bra section and members of the city fraction committees.
It is not necessary to book or make any request: the distribution will take place progressively in the various areas of Bra, with the delivery of a mask for each member of the family unit registered in the Registry. The distribution will continue simultaneously with the arrival of the supply by the Region, as the timing of the deliveries does not depend on the Municipality. It will therefore take a few weeks to complete. It will be the responsibility of the Administration to periodically communicate the progress of the distribution.
None of the persons in charge is authorized to enter the house or ask for a fee: citizens are invited to pay attention and report any suspicious episodes.
It is mandatory to wear masks in closed places accessible to the public, including means of transport, and in any case on all occasions when it is not possible to continuously guarantee the maintenance of the safety distance. Children under the age of 6 and those with disabilities not compatible with the continuous use of masks are exempted.
The correct use of these devices is in addition to other protective measures aimed at reducing the infection (such as physical distancing and constant and careful hygiene of the hands), which remain unchanged and priority. (em)
