A great operetta classic, presented in a new production that combines the splendor of the staging with the skill of the performers. Johann Strauss's “Il Pipistrello” is the next appointment of the prose season of the Politeama Boglione di Bra, scheduled for Wednesday 22 January 2020 at 21 pm.
If with "Il Pipistrello" - staged for the first time in Vienna in 1874 - the audience of almost one hundred and fifty years ago found optimism, pleasure and desire to live, who can deny that even today the vital matrix of which it is pervaded is not needed this operetta? Yesterday and today therefore blend intimately in this new Bat, as well as its famous melodies are inextricably linked to the structure of the operetta-waltz that Strauss invented with his illuminated expressive ductility and that has brought this operetta to be, still today, one of the masterpieces of world musical theater.
Tickets for the show, staged by the Corrado Abbati Company, are sold out.
The next theater events are Tuesday 4 February with "I due gemelli", adaptation of Goldoni's text "I due gemelli veneziani" by Natalino Balasso, interpreted and directed by Jurij Ferrini and Saturday 22 February with "Bartleby", a drama with Leo Gullotta freely inspired by Herman Melville's novel. Sunday, February 9 (16pm), the "Apriti Sesamo" review for families also returns, with the representation of "Azzurra Balena", dedicated to children aged three and up.
