After its debut in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, the summer film festival Under the Stars "Periferia Cuore della Città" continues in Bra, which every Thursday - until the beginning of September - brings the best of contemporary cinema to neighborhoods and hamlets. The next event is scheduled for Thursday 27 June in the Oltreferrovia district (via Piumati, near the green area) where "Ben is back" will be staged.
The film is directed by Peter Hedges, with the extraordinary Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges (Golden Globe nominated for best actor in a drama in "Boy Erased") as mother and son. On Christmas Eve, Holly Burns surprisingly finds herself in the backyard, her eldest son Ben, a former (or maybe not?) Drug addict. Has the child changed? Two great interpretations for a touching challenge of a mother who has to rebuild her mother's love and trust in a child who has deluded her too many times.
