The first leg of "Pedaling in the Unesco Heritage of Piedmont" will arrive in Bra, a non-competitive event that - from 19 to 21 October 2018 - will cross on two wheels some of the most impressive sites recognized as artistic and environmental heritage of humanity, including vine-growing landscapes of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, the sacred mountain of Crea, the sanctuary of Oropa, the underground cathedrals of Canelli and the palafittic village of Viverone.
The trip by bike, organized by the Racing Team Bicycles and Radio Acqui Vallebormida Monferrato in collaboration with the Piedmont Region, the Municipalities and UNESCO sites involved and the Italian Cycling Federation, runs along the three stages of Acqui Terme-Bra, Asti-Stresa and Superga-Oropa , for a total of 328 km and 3.500 meters in altitude, which will be covered with a uniform specially created for the occasion. In Bra the cyclists will arrive in the late afternoon of Friday 19 October: they will be greeted by the municipal administration for the official greeting, and then continue with the visit to the Bicycle Museum and a tasting based on local food and wine excellences. The next morning, we leave from Asti towards Lago Maggiore.
Enrollments in "Pedaling in the Unesco Heritage of Piedmont" are open, with the possibility of participating in the entire three days or even just one stage.
