The summer festival of outdoor cinema "Periferia cuore della città" continues in the hamlet of San Matteo. Thursday 26 July 2018, after the 21,30, is projected "A casa tutti bene" directed by Gabriele Muccino. A choral opera with a cast including Stefano Accorsi, Pierfrancesco Favino, Claudia Gerini, Stefania Sandrelli and Gianmarco Tognazzi, the film tells a family reunion to celebrate the fifty years of marriage of parents living on an island. Because of bad weather, relatives will be forced to spend more time together than expected and forced coexistence will re-emerge old frictions (and not only). Opening the evening will be the screening of the short film made by the councilors of the city council of young people on sustainable mobility. The short video, with an ironic cut, is an invitation to choose more carefully which means of transport to use daily, for example, on the way between home and school.
The review "Heart of the city" continues throughout the summer: the 2 August is proeitta "Victoria and Abdul" (directed by Stephen Frears) in via Sobrero; the 9 August, in Riva, "Contro Mano" (by and with Antonio Albanese). The 16 August in Piazza Giolitti is "The young Karl Marx" (by Raul Peck) while the 23 in August at Madonna Fiori you can see the cartoon "Coco" and the 30 "The darkest hour" (by Joe Wright ) in Pollenzo. The September 6, however, returns the evening "Film Music": in the courtyard of Palazzo Garrone, from the 21,30, the city band "Giuseppe Verdi" will play famous Italian and foreign soundtracks, including songs by Ennio Morricone and John Williams and many others, while the fragments of the films will be projected.
