With regard to the application of the regional legislation on funeral transport, the LR 3 August 2011, n. 15 concerning "Discipline of necropsy, funeral and cemetery activities and services and the DPGR 8 August 2012 n. 7 / R with which the Regulations on funeral activities and necropsy and cemetery services were issued, in implementation of art.15 of the aforementioned law.
According to art. 8, subsection 14 of the above-mentioned Regulations, funeral supervision is the responsibility of the municipality, which through authorized personnel presides over the control of the requirements of the Funeburn Companies.
With the DGR 13 January 2014, n. 13-7014 were dictated the first application addresses the above regional regulation.
The One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities of this Municipality checks the requirements of the Funeral Directors with registered office in this Municipality through the wake, placing the burden on their owner or legal representative to promptly communicate any changes relating to their staff or to collaborative relationships with companies / consortia / temporary agencies for the necrophoration service.
The Civil State Office, as closely related to the registration of the death certificate and the relevant burial permit, is responsible for all transport operations, in addition to the business name of the Company, also the names of the actual shipping agents, who will have to be mentioned at the time of authorization and, if they have changed, communicated to the Office itself.
Furthermore, in the case of funeral transport practices by Funeral Directors, with registered offices in other Municipalities, for deceased persons in our Municipality or outside, for the relative transport on our territory, it is considered necessary to verify the possession of the requirements for the exercise of funeral activities, through the acquisition of a specific substitutive declaration of notoriety deed, which will be checked ex officio.
Please note that for all services requested pursuant to art. 8 paragraph 8 of the DPGR 8 August 2012 n. 7 / R, the execution of the closure of the coffin must be certified, by filling in a specific report which must be drawn up in triplicate, one of which sent to the cemetery and one to the undersigned office in case of request for authorization for unusual transport.
The underlying models prepared by this municipality are attached to use for the various types of transport.
Therefore, all funeral homes that intend to request the above services are invited to use the published models, remembering that the request for authorizations must be forwarded to the Civil Status Office before starting the funeral transport, in order to obtain the appropriate authorization to carry out the same.
