The viability and traffic regulation service, at peak times, of pupils' entry and exit from schools, represents an absolute priority in the activity carried out by the Municipal Police staff.
The constant presence of at least one agent at primary schools located in areas with high traffic density is guaranteed, namely:

“Pellizzari” Via Montegrappa n. 34
1 agent on the Piazza Giolitti side, from Monday to Friday, from 7.55 to 8.30 and from 16.10 to 16.45
NB: no transit has been established, except for residents and emergency vehicles, in Via Montegrappa (stretch between Giolitti and Via Mercantini) from Monday to Friday from 7.55 to 8.30 and from 16.10 to 16.45 to allow entry and exit of pupils from school

"I Circle Didactic Direction" Via Vittorio Emanuele II n. 200
1 agent on the Via Marconi side, from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 8.20 and from 12.30 to 12.45
1 agent on the Via Marconi side, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 16.25 to 16.40

"Madonna Fiori", Viale Madonna Fiori n. 108
1 agent, from Monday to Friday, from 7.50 to 8.10 and from 12.25 to 12.40
1 agent, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 13,55 to 14,10 and from 16,10 to 16,20.

Another important commitment undertaken by the municipal police is the road system service for schools based in the historic center: with a specific ordinance, the municipal administration establishes a "ban on transit" during the school year, from 7:15 to 8 and from 12:45 to 13:15 on school days. The ban in question is in force in via Craveri, in the section between Corso San Secondo and via Barbacana, via Monte di Pietà, via Parpera and via Barbacana.
To implement this measure and therefore create a protected path for students who have to reach their school headquarters, "blocks" are set up at the accesses of the above-mentioned streets and these gates are manned by municipal police officers and volunteers on duty civil, called "vigilant grandparents".
