In the first days of February, a round of orientation meetings, promoted by the City of Bra, was completed in favor of the students of the fourth and fifth quarters of the Psychopedagogical High School St. Joseph. The project, called "Do the Right Thing!", Aims to provide students with an accurate information service on the postgraduate and postgraduate offering, deepening the knowledge of the labor market through analysis of the landscape socio-economic and productive sectors of the territory and the analysis of the professional figures required by the local productive system, by promoting the acquisition of the techniques and tools of active labor market research. In a second phase, the project will involve the realization of working-class alternation moments. The pupils of the fifth will have the opportunity, starting in March, to get to know closely some productive realities of the territory, participating in workshops, where, accompanied by a tutor of the Active Service of Municipal Work (Spal), they will experiment within a few business contexts, alongside a business referent, to observe, recognize, and analyze the various fields and repositories of the business, production cycles, professional figures and roles and competencies.
This intervention is part of the integrated educational and vocational guidance initiatives that the City of Bra, through the Active Labor Policy Service, promotes and organizes in the exercise of municipal skills in the education system. In particular, the Spal of Bra has been engaged, for example, through the preparation of ad hoc projects, in the realization of orientation courses, internships and other activities aimed at orientation, choice of school and professional courses, integration into the world of work, making use of collaboration, for the realization of interventions, resources and services on the territory.
