The civic library of Bra "Giovanni Arpino" focuses on young readers: after the inauguration of the dedicated corner in the structure of via Guala, the initiatives to promote reading among young people aged 12 to 20, those who are commonly referred to as "Young Adult". Numerous and varied the proposals of the project, created by the library with the support of the Compagnia San Paolo of Turin: "Into the books", a series of meetings with authors for "young adults" such as, for example, Giorgio Scianna, Christian Hill, Davide Longo and Riccardo Gazzaniga; editing and creative writing workshop for students in collaboration with Bonomo Editore; refresher meetings for teachers, educators and parents on sector literature by Caterina Ramonda.

Families like to play, especially when it comes to board games. In fact, the appointment organized by the “Giovanni Arpino” Civic Library of Bra on November 9, 2019 on the occasion of the International Games Day, the initiative promoted worldwide by the American Library Association, met with great success. Over 40 participants in the event organized in collaboration with the cultural association "Order of the Rocca" and "Stupeficium, educational and quality games".

On Tuesday 19 November 2019 in Bra an exercise of the External Emergency Plan (PEE) of establishments at risk of major accident located in the municipal area will take place. This is an exercise, coordinated by the Prefecture of Cuneo, aimed at testing the management and organization system of the phases immediately following an event foreseen by the accident scenarios.
