It was named after the memory of Achille Carando, the first post-war mayor, the council chamber of the town hall of Bra. The short ceremony took place before the beginning of the work of the highest civic assembly, which met yesterday 26 March 2013, in the presence of the family of the doctor led who first led a municipal council under the Zizzola at the end of the period of dictatorship. 

On the occasion of the Easter festivities, the public library of Bra closes to the public on Saturday 30 March 2013, which also suspends the appointment of the "Monday in the library" for the occasion. Starting from Tuesday 2 April, however, will return the usual services of the structure of via Guala, open to the public from Monday to Thursday on 14-18: 30, Tuesday to Friday from 9 to midday, Friday from 14 to 18 and, for adults only, Saturday from 9 to 12: 30. 

They close with the sound of the violin and the suggestions of lyrical song the spring afternoons in music at Palazzo Mathis, animated by the talents of the civic music institute "Adolfo Gandino" of Bra. The appointment is for Sunday 7 April, at 16 X in Square Fallen for Freedom.

In Bra municipal offices also open on Saturdays. Starting from Tuesday 2 April 2013 change the access times to the civic building, with an important news: the offices with the largest number of visitors will also be open on Saturday mornings between ten and noon. The branches to which the public will be able to contact are those of the offices Registry office, Marital status, Protocol, Social services, Family, Youth information, Public services in concession, Economato, Billboards and advertising, Tributes. The municipal offices will remain closed, however, in the afternoons of Monday and Wednesday (as is already the case for the Registry Office and Marital Status), guaranteeing access to the public in the afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday from 15 to 16. 

A tragic comedy of love and intrigue signed by Shakespeare comes on Sunday, April 7, at Politeama Boglione Theater in Bra. At 21, the Gank Company, co-produced with the Stabile Theater in Genoa, brings Carlo Alberto's stage "Very Noise at all" with the direction of Alberto Giusta and the Italian version of Nadia Fusini.
