The usual appointment with the market of 25 April 2019 dedicated to "vintage, antiques and artistic craftsmanship" is renewed this year in Bra.
Art: works on loan, from Palazzo Traversa to the Royal Museums
There will also be the photographic portrait of Giovanni Piumati, part of the collection of the Museum of Art, History and Archeology of Bra Palazzo Traversa, on display at the Royal Museums of Turin, as part of the prestigious “Leonardo da Vinci. Drawing the future ”, organized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as the culmination of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of Leonardo's death. The Braidese painter and scholar transcribed part of Leonardo's codes, including the Codex of Flight, Anatomy and the mighty Codex Atlanticus. Copies of these editions are permanently on display at Palazzo Traversa, which can be visited during the opening hours of the civic museum in via Parpera. The exhibition itinerary set up in Turin, with over fifty works that tell the research between science and art of Leonardo da Vinci through the instrument of drawing, can be visited until July 14, 2019.

Bra: new electric vehicles for cleaning city streets
The street vacuum cleaner is totally powered by electricity and from today, Monday 15 April 2019, is used for the cleaning and manual sweeping of the streets and squares of the historic center of Bra. The new device - the first of a series of ecological and sustainable vehicles that will soon become part of the fleet of urban sanitation services as part of the new waste contract - will guarantee more accurate and effective cleaning, especially in those urban areas whose pavements and road characteristics require particular attention. Also starting from today, four electric blowers are in operation to assist the cleaning activity of the operators in support of mechanized sweeping. Also in this case, it is equipment with low noise and environmental impact. (em)
