By profession, a notary, mayor of Bra between 1960 and 1970, he was among the first to commit himself to the transformation and return to "collective" use of Palazzo Mathis, today one of the artistic and architectural jewels that characterize the historic center of the city of Bra. Born in 1921, Degioannini had been an Alpine gunner in the Cuneense Division and between 1943 and 1945 he had been a prisoner by the Germans. A graduate in literature and law, he practiced the profession of notary for many years starting in 1954. The short ceremony, presided over by the mayor Bruna Sibille and the president of the municipal council Biagio Conterno, was attended by some relatives of Degioannini, who died in April of 2006.
