Some important souvenirs of the Museum of Art, History and Archeology of Palazzo Traversa in Bra are on show in the City of Paci, under the exhibition "Napoleon: four nights in Cherasco". These are two of the survivors of Bra's Brain-Free Brain in the 1798, three stationery stamps related to Bra's Mairie and a saber on the blades engraved with the slogans "Viva la Repubblica italiana" and "Live Free or die".
The pieces of civic treasury collections were borrowed to better document the social upheavals that accompanied the assertion of the Napoleonic armies also in our territory, to 220 years from the Armistice signed at Cherasco the 28 April 1796, between Napoleon Bonaparte and Vittorio Amedeo III of Savoy. The exhibition "Napoleon: four nights at Cherasco" is open to visitors at Palazzo Salmatoris until 12 June 2016. (Em)
