15 years have passed since that tragic 12 November of 2003, when the explosion of a truck-bomb at the "Maestrale" base, in Iraq, cost the lives of twenty-eight civilian and military people engaged in the "Ancient Babylon" peace mission. Among these were Italian 19s, including twelve carabinieri. The solemn ceremony dedicated to their memory on Monday 12 November 2018, on the National Day of Remembrance for the civil and military casualties of international peace missions, will remind Bra of the anniversary of the massacre. The appointment is at 11.30 in Piazza Caduti di Nassiriya. The Mayor Bruna Sibille and the captain Roberto Di Nunzio, commander of the company of Bra dell'Arma dei Carabinieri will intervene. (Em)
