Art and creativity are the protagonists of the upcoming summer workshops at Palazzo Traversa for children: Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 July 2018 meeting entitled "Hands that tell": through the reading of works of art from prehistory to the contemporary age, you will discover the language of hands with particular attention to the sculptures of Auguste Rodin, and with games, drawings and colors you will experience the expressive potential of gestures. The following day, on the other hand, a short popular poem will be animated through the creation of small finger puppets. The following week, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 July, appointment with "Lines that create borders / lines that arouse emotions": starting from the reading of Roberto Piumini's story "The Silly Border" will be reflected on various themes, from geographical borders to friendship before interpreting the story graphically according to the style of Piet Mondrian. On the second day of the workshop we will observe works by Mirò, Keith Haring, Kandinsky to identify different types of lines and reinterpret the works in a personalized way.
The activities of the "Holidays at the museum" program are aimed at children from 6 to 12 years and take place from 9 to 12,30 with the possibility of pre-entry to 8.30.
