After the end of the school year, in Bra summer holidays can be spent "at the museum": once again this year, a series of events dedicated to children in the summer are organized, with reservations required.

It starts next week (from 11 to 15 June 2018) with the workshop "A cardboard at the museum" at Palazzo Traversa with the association "The yellow box" that will involve the small participants in the realization of an animation. Then from the 20 June 2018 begin the appointments of the cycle "Holidays at the museum" that propose, every week, two mornings in company to have fun with creative and artistic activities conducted and animated by educational operators. The workshops will continue until the first week of August and will resume with two further meetings in the first week of September. Two weekly appointments: Wednesday and Thursday mornings for children from 6 to 12 years on 9-12,30 (with possibility of pre-entry to 8,30). The cost is 5 euro per child for one morning.

Every week different themes will be proposed. The 20 and 21 June appointment with "The water and the pool of Giverny" to play with colors inspired by Claude Monet's water lilies. The 27 and 28 June, on the other hand, focus on "Tactile landscapes and paper animals" based on the works of Fabrizio Silei and Enrico Benaglia to build a landscape to be popular with three-dimensional animals. The 4 and 5 July, on the other hand, will see the herbariums of the Craveri Museum in "Erbe e stranerbe" looking among aromatic plants, spices, flavors and aromas and building a "garden of sharp, jagged, sharp" plants. The 11 and 12 July, workshops titled "Textures" to experiment with the characteristics of different surfaces. The 18 and 19 July will be protagonists "Hands that tell" to realize small finger puppets discovering the sculptures of Auguste Rodin. The activities of the 25 July will be based on the story of Roberto Piumini "The Silly Border" and on the works of Piet Mondrian. Also the 26 July will work on the "lines" reinterpreting works by Mirò, Keith Haring, Kandinsky. "How many different faces are there?" Is the title of the workshops of 1 and 2 August inspired by Bruno Munari's game-book "Let's Look In the Eyes". The activities resume the 5 and 6 September with "Fairy tale in the city" to customize the most famous stories by setting them "in the house". The detailed program is available on the website www.turismoinbra.it.

During the month of July, instead, will be organized the Ceramic Course for children: for four Tuesdays (the 3, the 10, the 17 and the 24) the children between 7 and 12 years will learn the techniques of working the clay to realize different artifacts.
